I Heart Spring Tag

The first of spring this year officially began on March 20th at 7:04 am. Here in Oklahoma, it could be warm and sunny or it could be a number of other types of weather. But more on that later. I procured this spring questionnare from Ingrid of missglamorazzi on YouTube. I have watched Ingrid's videos for some time now and I really enjoy her upbeat personality and down to earth way she makes her videos.

1. Favorite spring nail polish? Illamasqua's Speckled Varnish. I've posted about this varnish before and I still think it's so perfect for spring.

2. What is your must have lip color this spring? I am loving the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Cherish/Devotion. I normally wouldn't be a fan of barbie pink lips, but there is something about this color that is so pretty. Paired with a neutral eye and pink cheeks, I'm ready for spring!
3. Show us your favorite spring dress! I picked up this dress from Walmart the other day and I absolutely love it. Yes, it is a juniors dress. Yes, it is much too short to wear on its own. But paired with black leggings and my favorite pair of grey flat boots, it's perfect for spring and its appropriate to wear to work or wear out somewhere.

4. What's your favorite flower? This spring I am very attracted to lavender and purple flowers. I especially love purple tulips and you can see alot of iris around here. Spring roses, not your traditional roses, but the messier ones always remind me of spring. My grandma has one in her backyard that has grown for years.

5. Favorite spring scarf/accessory? At the moment, I don't really have a spring scarf but I'm planning to make one soon. Most of the scarves I have are much too warm for spring. Another spring accessory...Claritan! Spring is the worst time for allergies in Oklahoma.

6. What spring trend(s) are you most excited about this year? I have been reading alot about black and white being hip for spring but I'm not sure how I feel about it. I saw that lace is apparently big and I love lace anytime of the year.

7. Favorite spring candle? I really don't have a favorite candle at the moment. I need to go and get a few new scents for the house and I'm leaning towards something spicy and citrus.

8. Favorite body spray/perfume for spring? I received a sample of Sage + Fasten perfume in Common Sense and it has really proven to be my favorite scent for spring. It's fruity and floral, sweet and soft. I love the hint of peach which really pulls the 'spring' smell together. I don't wear perfume all that often so the little roller bottle sample I received will last me quite awhile.

9. What is spring like where you live? Spring in Oklahoma...how do I begin. Up until about June, the weather can vary. Yesterday it snowed. As I said earlier, allergies are at their worst as everything starts blooming. I have a real problem with tree pollen and we are already in the "Very High" range of the pollen count.

10. What's your favorite thing about spring? I love all the flowers and the birds hopping about (I adore the way birds hop around, it's so cute!) Its nice enough to go outside and grill without feeling like your walking through a swimming pool because of the humidity.
