Beauty Profile

I had the urge to do a beauty profile this morning, so here it is!

Beauty Profile:

Eye Color
Hazel

Natural Hair Color
Brunette

Skin Undertones
Pinkish, mostly pale

Most Prominent Facial Feature
I feel that my face is pretty proportional, I don't think I have an overly prominent feature.

Favorite Facial Feature
My eyebrows. They are naturally high and don't take any shaping and I like that they aren't perfectly the same, it adds character.

Feature You Would Change
Honestly, I don't think I would change anything, except perhaps the pudgyness in my face (which I am working on now.) I can't imagine looking in the mirror and not seeing me.

Key Point Of The Face
The eyes.

Skin & Personal Care Routine:

First Personal Care/Beauty Step In The Morning
Dig out the eye boogers. :) I have bad eye allergies and this is a daily problem.

Favorite Skin Care Products
Right now I am loving Benta Berry G-1 Moisturizer. Most moisturizers make my skin oily but since this was created for acne-prone teenage boys, it works wonders on my "stuck in my teen years" skin.

Most Important Skin Care Routine Step
The most important step that I have to make sure I do is take my makeup off at night. I have a bad habit of just passing out and not only is it horrible for my skin in general, but it makes my eye allergies rear their head so much more.

Often Neglected Skin Care Routine Step
Hmm...I don't do eye creams because I really haven't found one that doesn't feel like burning. I don't really do anti-aging stuff because I think that wrinkles, scars, and imperfections make a person unique.

Most Important Skin Care Product
Makeup remover wipes. I wouldn't take off my makeup if it wasn't so simple.

Cannot Live Without
Apricot Scrub

Makeup:

First Step To Makeup Routine
I usually just start my makeup?

Most Important Makeup Tools
A good set of brushes. And eyelash curlers.

Primer
I don't currently use a full face primer, don't really see the need.

Foundation
I normally do not wear foundation. I'll hit a couple of spots with Benefit Some Kind-a Gorgeous in Medium but that's about it. I don't really like foundation because it never seems to match and it makes me feel too covered up.

Concealer
Don't really use concealer either. My skin was pretty bad when I was young and I used alot of foundation and concealer but now I just let it all hang out.

Powder
I need to invest in a full size powder because currently (when I actually use powder) I am using Makeup Forever HD Microfinish Powder that I got a sample of.

Blush
I LOVE cheek stains. I've blogged about my love of Stainiac Prom Queen and I also love Benefit Posie Tint. I usually also use a little bit of The Balm Hot Mama! for a little added shimmer.

Bronzer
Don't use it. I'm pale and don't feel the need to fake a color and I've found that most bronzers look quite orange on me.

Highlighter
I love love love love Benefit High Beam. It was one of the first non-drugstore brand products I ever bought years ago and I still love it to this day. I also have fallen for The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer.

Brows
I pluck my brows to clean them up and that is all. I love them just the way they are.

Eye Primer
I have a two step procedure for eye primers that I have concocted that really works for me. I have very oily eyelids and eyeshadows ALWAYS creased on me and using just a primer so far has helped, but still creases. (I am planning to try multiple new eye primers when I can afford to.) I start with Benefit Some Kind-a Gorgeous and then use Benefit Stay Don't Stray. (Can you tell I'm a Benefit girl?)

Eyeshadow
I try to wear hypoallergenic eyeshadow but have found that the bigger name brands have formulas that aren't necessarilly hypoallergenic, but they are made without all of the crap that irritates my eyes. And I have found that cream eyeshadows work better for me as far as eye irritation goes. I am loving E.L.F. Cream Eyeshadow in Dawn. I tend to stick with neutral browns, golds, and taupes and I have fallen in love with the Stila In The Light palette. I received a sample from Birchbox and the colors are gorgeous. The small sample that I received has gone through several weeks of use and I still have some left. I need to purchase the actual palette but at $40 my cheap ass keeps putting it off. I also love Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bold Gold and I'm planning to get some others colors soon.

Eyeliner
I have various Clinique eyeliners that I use but right now I really like the Sephora Collection ElectroLiner in Copper Electro.

Mascara
Model Co. Fibre LashXtend. Greatest. Mascara. Ever.

Lips
I don't usually wear alot of lipstick. I do love Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey. I use Maybelline Baby Lips in Peppermint and I also really like Mox Botanicals Lip Butter in Pomegranate & Fig.

Hair:

Shampoo
I'm currently using Organix Tea Tree Mint. I love all things mint.

Conditioner
Organix Tea Tree Mint

Brush & Comb
I don't brush my hair that often (I know, I know, Bad Heather) because I wear it wavy/curly and if I brush it once its dry it just gets a big wave dent in it. My hair is BEYOND ridiculous and does whatever it wants. I have a brush, but its just some cheapy Walmart one. I need to invest in a good brush soon.

Styling Products
I make my own sea salt spray and that is what I normally use. I have random rotation of other things that I try but as I said, my hair is ridiculous, and I'm constantly searching for something new that works.

Treatment Products
For the most part, my hair is in good condition. I currently don't have any deep treatments that I use. If it gets a little dry (which rarely happens, my hair is quite oily) I'll just smoosh a little coconut oil in it and leave it on for awhile.

Body:

There were no body questions on this profile so I thought I would just list what I currently love:

Lush Party On Shower Jelly - Lime & Mint deliciousness.
Burt's Bees Ultimate Care Body Lotion - Got this from my mother in law for Christmas and it is great for after I shave my legs.
Pacifica Tuscan Blood Orange Body Butter - Received this in my Ipsy and it smells amazing.
Homemade Coconut Oil Sugar Scrub - Scrubs are so expensive and so easy to make, so I make them.
Lush North Pole Soap - A seasonal peppermint and chocolate soap that I would push an old lady down to get to. I've got alot of different Lush Soaps but this is my favorite. I like to cut pieces off and put them in little mesh gift bags so I don't have a soggy bar of soap lying around.
Lush Vanilla Puff Powder - I like vanilla scented things and this one smells sexy.
Lush T for Toes Powder (I wear alot of flat, ballet type shoes and I hate socks and I don't want my feet to get all stinky.)
