The Balm Stainiac



If I can only wear one makeup product in a day, it would have to be blush. My natural complexion is quite pale and in the morning I can look downright ghoulish. I had never tried stains before until I received a sample of Stainiac in my Birchbox several months ago.



Yes, that is a kitty blanket.

 

Ever since then, I've been hooked. I have not worn regular blush (on its own) since discovering this. I had received Beauty Queen, which is the darkest of the three offered colors. When I decided to order a full sized one, I opted for Prom Queen, which is the pinker shade. I try to stay away from red things (blush, lipstick, etc) because it just doesn't look that great with my skintone. Prom Queen is perfect, I can build it up to be a darker flush or keep it light, either way it looks so much more natural than regular blush. An added benefit is that it lasts all day and sometimes longer than that. I didn't wash my makeup off one night and the next morning I got up and everything had smeared off but my cheeks were still glowing and pretty.



Very tired today. And some boob action as well.

 

I'm wearing it today with very little else, no actual foundation or primer, the slightest bit of eye shadow that I partially wiped off in a sleepy haze this morning. But I still have enough color in my cheeks to look as if I am not a member of the living dead.
